1. Who we are
Installed Revenue is operated by Wilson Mboya trading as Installed Revenue. It is based in the United Kingdom and provides installed-base recovery services to commercial service contractors.
For website enquiries and our own administration, Installed Revenue acts as a data controller. When processing personal information in a contractor's records solely to provide an agreed service, Installed Revenue generally acts as that contractor's processor under written data-processing terms.

2. Information we may collect
- Business contact details, including name, job title, company, work email and telephone number
- Information provided in an email enquiry, fit call, proposal or contract discussion
- Basic website security, delivery and technical information
- Billing, payment, transaction and business administration records
- Personal information in contractor records where necessary for the agreed service
Do not submit live customer, site, equipment, employee or other operating records through the public website or ordinary email.
3. How, why and on what basis we use information
- Take requested steps toward a contract and deliver an agreed service where processing is necessary for a contract
- Respond to business enquiries, improve the service and protect systems where our legitimate interests apply
- Maintain tax, accounting and legal records where required by law
- Use consent where the law requires it, including for optional marketing in circumstances where consent is the appropriate basis
4. Contractor records
The contractor determines why personal information in its records is processed and is responsible for having an appropriate basis to provide it. Installed Revenue processes that information only on documented instructions, for the agreed purpose and under written data-processing terms.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We may use selected providers for email, document storage, website hosting, scheduling, payment processing, professional advice and administration. An approved contracted engagement may use Google Workspace Drive for a client-specific secure workspace. Provider use is restricted to the contracted purpose and under appropriate terms.
The OpenAI API may receive only data-minimised, validated opportunity fields. The current processor excludes customer and site names, contact details, street addresses and serial numbers. Requests use store false. OpenAI may retain content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default. API data is not used for model training unless the account opts in. We do not sell contractor records or use them for unrelated advertising.
6. International transfers
Installed Revenue operates from the United Kingdom and may serve organisations in the United States. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards are used.
7. Retention
Unsuccessful enquiry records are normally retained for up to 12 months. Contract, billing and accounting records are normally retained for up to 7 years after the relevant transaction or engagement. Contractor-record retention and deletion are agreed for each engagement and may be shorter.
8. Security
Proportionate controls include multi-factor authentication, access restriction, controlled transfer, minimum-data practices and documented incident response before live operating records are accepted. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Rights and complaints
Under UK data protection law, individuals may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Rights can depend on the circumstances. Contact privacy@installedrevenue.com.
Data-protection complaints can be sent to privacy@installedrevenue.com or to the correspondence address above. Installed Revenue will acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, investigate it without undue delay, keep the complainant informed where the investigation is ongoing, and explain the outcome. A complaint may also be made to the UK Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
10. Cookies and website technology
The launch website uses only technology needed for delivery, security and access control. It does not currently use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated before the technology is enabled.
